Welcome to a Faculty Development Program for
Teachers of International Medical Graduates (IMGs).

This program provides educational materials for those who facilitate faculty development activities, direct educational programs, or teach IMG learners in a variety of settings and situations.

The goals of this program are to:

• Help prepare teachers to work effectively and collaboratively with IMGs.

• Enhance the learning and practice experience of IMGs.

Included in this program you will find:

• Everything needed to put together a faculty development program for teachers working with IMGs.

• An introduction and overall guide to developing site-specific faculty development programs

• Six easy-to-use modules on topics important for teachers of IMGS, each containing key concepts, teaching and learning strategies, faculty development activities and a variety of teaching tools and resources (e.g. PowerPoint presentations, video scenarios, IMG narratives)

• Step-by-step instructions and materials for mountaing faculty development workshops

• Directions and background material for independent study by individual teachers who have difficulty assessing group activities.
