The Canadian Clinical Teaching Collaborative is hosting a National Forum on Clinical Teaching, February 3, 2012 to develop a national implementation strategy to address priority issues and challenges for clinical teachers in Canada.

Attention All Faculty - AFMC and Canada Health Infoway are pleased to announce a new e-Health Award. Nominees must be a faculty member from a Canadian faculty of medicine who demonstrate exceptional leadership and commitment to e-health and informatics in medical education curriculum. The award and $2,500 will be presented annually for the next three years at the Canadian Conference on Medical Education (CCME). Nominations must be submitted by January 9th, 2012.

Dr. Nick Busing, President & CEO of AFMC wins the 2011 W. Victor Johnston Award. The award, which is supported by the CFPC Research & Education Foundation, recognizes a renowned Canadian or international family medicine leader for continuous and enduring contributions to the specialty of family medicine in Canada or abroad.
