American Board of Internal Medicine
The ABIM web-site contains a bibliography which is somewhat selective and appears to leave out several articles which are key to an understanding of professionalism.

American Council on Graduate Medical Education
The ACGME web-site contains its approach to professionalism under Competencies. It also includes a grid offering guidance as to how best to evaluate professionalism under Assessment and a very selective bibliography under References.

Association of American Medical Colleges
The AAMC covers professionalism as a project by the GEA (Group on Educational Affairs). It contains a definition, a discussion of teaching and evaluation, and a selective bibliography.

Canadian Medical Association
There is an extensive position paper on professionalism in medicine in Canada.

Institute on Medicine as a Profession (IMAP)

The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
The RCPSC website includes the CanMEDS roles, definitions, and a somewhat limited bibliography.
