L\u2019Association des facult\u00e9s de m\u00e9decine du Canada (AFMC) renforce son engagement au sein de l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me canadien de la recherche en sant\u00e9, en faisant valoir les besoins des \u00e9tudiant.e.s dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s, des cliniciens-chercheurs et des stagiaires en recherche qui fa\u00e7onnent l\u2019avenir de la m\u00e9decine universitaire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u2019appuyant sur l\u2019\u00e9lan g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par la s\u00e9ance sur invitation du conseil d\u2019administration de l\u2019AFMC sur les cliniciens-chercheurs lors du Congr\u00e8s international de m\u00e9decine universitaire<\/a> (CIMU) 2025, la pr\u00e9sidente-directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l\u2019AFMC, Constance LeBlanc, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 des recommandations et des perspectives cl\u00e9s lors d\u2019un panel \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence inaugurale de Recherche Canada,<\/a> le 9 octobre. L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement a r\u00e9uni des leaders des h\u00f4pitaux, du gouvernement, de l\u2019industrie et du secteur \u00e0 but non lucratif afin de discuter de l\u2019avenir de la recherche en sant\u00e9 au Canada. L\u2019AFMC y a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance d\u2019investissements soutenus, de mentorat structur\u00e9 et de parcours professionnels favorables pour les cliniciens-chercheurs \u00e9 mergents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'AFMC a \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la Semaine scientifique Gairdner du 20 au 23 octobre, une c\u00e9l\u00e9bration nationale de la recherche de pointe et de l'innovation en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 mondiale. En partenariat avec la Fondation Gairdner<\/a>cette ann\u00e9e, quatre \u00e9tudiant.e.s class\u00e9s parmi les meilleurs du concours d'affiches de recherche au CIMU 2025 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 participer \u00e0 la Semaine scientifique Gairdner, o\u00f9 ils ont pu rencontrer des laur\u00e9ats Gairdner et des scientifiques de renom, et tirer des enseignements et de l'inspiration des leaders mondiaux de la recherche en sant\u00e9. Repr\u00e9sentant l'AFMC lors de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement, Auguste Ngangu\u00e9, gestionnaire de la recherche, a partag\u00e9 ses r\u00e9flexions<\/a>, soulignant l'importance de soutenir et de promouvoir la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de scientifiques.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019AFMC continue de jouer un r\u00f4le essentiel dans l\u2019\u00e9volution du paysage canadien de la recherche en sant\u00e9, en favorisant la collaboration intersectorielle et en contribuant \u00e0 une communaut\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine universitaire dynamique et innovante.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
