AFMC Response to the Federal Budget

On the heels of its very successful international congress in Vancouver, the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) watched with interest as the federal budget was announced last Tuesday. The AFMC celebrates the investments made in areas connected to the social determinants of health, such as housing, youth mental health, and a national school food program.

Eighty years ago, the Association of Canadian Medical Colleges (ACMC) was founded by the deans of Canadian faculties of medicine.

There will be 240 orals, 76 posters and 56 workshops related to medical education featured at ICAM starting on April 15 and ending on April 18. This year’s tracks include:
