The AFMC struck the Future of Admissions in Canada Think Thank (FACTT) to advance the Future of Medical Education in Canada MD Report Recommendation Two which is to enhance admissions processes in order to achieve desired diversity in our physician workforce. The FACTT was comprised of subject matter experts and faculty responsible for ensuring diversity and equity in the medical student cohort admitted to Canadian Faculties of Medicine. The following report outlines the strategic recommendations of the FACTT that were approved by the AFMC Board.
