The Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada’s Board of Directors has decided that all interviews taking place in the fall of 2022 for the 2023 Medicine Subspecialty Match, Pediatric Subspecialty Match and Family Medicine, Enhanced Skills Match will be in a virtual format including those for local candidates. 

The timelines will be as follows:

2023 Medicine Subspecialty Match

  • Application period: Wednesday, July 13, 2022 – Wednesday, August 24, 2022
  • File Review Period: Wednesday, August 24, 2022 – Tuesday, September 06, 2022
  • Interview Period: Tuesday, September 06, 2022 – Monday, October 03, 2022
  • Match Day First Iteration: Wednesday, November 02, 2022
  • Match Day Second Iteration: Wednesday, December 07, 2022

2023 Pediatric Subspecialty Match

  • Application period: Wednesday, July 20, 2022 – Wednesday, September 7, 2022
  • File Review Period: Wednesday, September 7, 2022 – Friday, September 16, 2022
  • Interview Period: Friday, September 16, 2022 – Friday, October 21, 2022
  • Match Day: Wednesday, November 16, 2022

2023 Family Medicine, Enhanced Skills Match

  • Application period: Tuesday, August 02, 2022 -Wednesday, September 14, 2022
  • File Review Period: Wednesday, September 14, 2022 – Friday, October 14, 2022
